Styles
of Yoga We Offer
Gentle/Restorative
Yoga: Learn to relax and release tension through awareness,
supported yoga postures and breathing techniques. Achieve
physical strength, balance and flexibility; regain inner peace
and self-confidence through gentle yoga movements.
Yoga
Therapy: Yoga poses are carefully selected for client's
special conditions. In one-on-one sessions, teacher and client
work together to achieve recovery and improve physical and
psychological well-being.
Yoga
Flow / Power Yoga: A more demanding yoga workout using
the concept of continuous motion and balance connected by
breath. Well-designed sequences of postures tone the entire
body. Strength, stamina and effort are unique aspects of this
type of Yoga.
Yogalates
(aka. Piyo): The fusion of yoga and pilates, Yogalates
adds pilates' focus on core stability to yoga's emphasis on
flexibility and strength; particularly good for back pain
and building strength through the torso.
Kids
and Family Yoga: Our Kids Yoga
class meets once a week on Sunday evenings 6:30-7:30.
I also teach families that practice yoga together. Both of
these types of yoga are a lot of fun!
